Our mentoring groups were designed to offer you the support you need to confidently educate and advocate for your kids with learning differences like dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD.

We believe that struggling learners learn differently and therefore need to be taught differently.

This isn’t always easy for two reasons. One, we tend to compare our kids to other families and two, we tend to believe that traditional school is the ‘right’ way to be educated.

Our mentoring groups will help you:

Build skills in teaching differently. With expert feedback from Marianne and full access to all 16 of her online parent education courses, you will become increasingly skilled in the teaching methods that work with kids who have language-based learning difficulties.

Build confidence in your abilities. As you implement new teaching strategies and see your kids’ successes, your confidence will dramatically increase.

Build your kids’ confidence. From research-based teaching methods, to teaching self-advocacy and growth mindsets, to making learning more engaging and satisfying, your kids will increase their confidence in themselves, in their ability to learn, and in their unique strengths.

Remain consistent throughout the school year. Every meeting will start with a time to share wins of the week followed by troubleshooting areas of struggle. 

Get connected to other parents of struggling learners. This has been one of the most gratifying (and surprising) benefits of our online groups. As we get to know one another, we offer meaningful support and ongoing encouragement.

These are just a few of the benefits of joining a mentoring group.

Membership includes:

• Two live video calls (on Zoom) per month

• Twice yearly homeschool assessment and planning sessions

• 30-minute consultation with Marianne upon sign up

• All sessions will be recorded in both video and audio formats to listen or watch again later

• Optional Upgrade: Access to all of Marianne’s online parent education courses while a member (an $800 value)

Meeting Times

Currently, we meet on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 2:00pm Pacific and the 3rd Thursday of the month at 5:00 pm Pacific.
